The ‘Big 2’ Largest Manufacturers Increase Prices

    

 

    Whirlpool and Electrolux Brand Appliance Manufacturers announced earlier today up to a 10% price increase across the board by April 1st.  This is most likely due to the lack of profit margins they have been getting over the past couple of years.  Is this a good thing for the appliance industry?  How many others will follow along?  I don’t know. 

Lets look at a couple of things.

    Costs of raw materials, copper, aluminum, steel, and even fuel have increase dramatically in that period.

Freezing Temperature in Frigidaire Crisper Drawers

        There is a problem with some Frigidaire and Electrolux model refrigerators, listed above, Serial Number Range between 4A801xxxxx – 4A037xxxxxx.  The issue is that the meat and crisper drawers are too cold and even freezing food. 

        The challenge is that the meat pan air damper is providing too much cold air into the crispers causing the excessive cold temperatures.
